Whether you’re yearning to uncover the quirks and charms of local life, to delve deep into the fabric of Thailand’s majestic culture, or enjoy world class cosmopolitan living, we’re here to help plan the best days and nights out, for a stay that’s seamless and brimming with inspiration.

Grand Palace

Home of the famous Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace is a complex of buildings in the heart of Bangkok that acted as the seat of the king, his court and royal government until 1925.

Reclining Buddha

Adjacent to the Grand Palace, the impressive Wat Pho, or Temple of the Reclining Buddha, features a gold-brushed Buddha statue measuring 15 metres (49 feet) high and 43 metres (141 feet) long, built in 1767.

Wat Arun

With its porcelain-encrusted tower, the 17th-century Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn, rates among Thailand’s best-known landmarks.

Flower Market

A great day-trip destination, the Bangkok Flower Market (Pak Klong Talat) is the largest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok. Open 24 hours a day, it’s best seen in the busy early-morning hours.

Chao Phraya River

The River of Kings is the lifeblood of Bangkok. It’s the juxtaposition of calm and chaotic, modern and traditional, religious and secular, foreign and indigenous that makes the Chao Phraya so evocative.

Bangkok’s Chinatown is a popular tourist attraction and a haven for new-generation gourmands. Day or night, experience the area’s vibrant feel and street-side cuisine.

Floating Market

Experience the unique floating market, featuring boats piled high with tropical fruits and vegetables, fresh, ready-to-drink coconut juice and local delicacies prepared on the boats themselves.

The former capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 1350, the ruins of Ayutthaya are located just an hour from downtown Bangkok.

At the Races in Bangkok

Spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon watching horse racing at the Royal Turf Club.

Siam Ocean World at Siam Paragon

Two stories beneath the mega-mall, Siam Paragon, an aquatic wonderland the size of three Olympic swimming pools awaits your discovery at Siam Ocean World. This underground aquarium, one of the largest in Southeast Asia, will dazzle you with innovative world-class exhibits and over 30,000 curious looking creatures from various depths and aquatic regions across the globe.

Kidzania Bangkok at Siam Paragon

Kidzania is the very latest and considered the most innovative addition to the 'edutainment' scene in Bangkok. Each and every one of the shops and buildings in Kidzania town is a learning experience for children from four to 15 years old. Reservations and tickets are needed.

Indoor Ice Skating Rink at CentralWorld

Beat Bangkok's heat and stage your own holiday on ice at the city's many rinks. An ideal (and fun) way to spend time with your family, ice skating provides non-stop thrill for kids and parents alike.

Where to Shop in Bangkok

The city’s dynamic retail scene boasts a wealth of modern design pieces, inspiring jewellery and elegant textiles.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Experience Thailand’s largest market, averaging more than 200,000 visitors each day. Almost everything can be found here at a bargain price (don’t forget to negotiate!).

Shopping at Ratchaprasong
